SMS Terms

George Household Notifications is operated by George for invited adult family members. It sends authorized Canvas school summaries and operator-only software failure and recovery notices. It is personal and noncommercial, and is not a school or Canvas service. Future projects are not covered until their categories and consent requirements are defined.

Voluntary enrollment

Follow the email enrollment instructions and actively agree to the disclosed messages for your number. General inquiries and phone-number submissions alone are not consent. SMS is not required to use the original school information or household services. Delivery is pending carrier approval and setup; a consent email is not a promise that texting is already available.

Frequency and cost

Canvas school summaries: two each weekday at 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern time (10 per recipient per week). Software failure and recovery alerts: operator only, with frequency varying by events. Longer summaries may use multiple SMS segments. Message and data rates may apply.

Stop or get help

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from all SMS in this program. One opt-out confirmation may follow, then notifications stop. Reply HELP for support, or email notifications@georgedk.com. Email withdrawal requests are also accepted, including before messaging begins.

To re-enroll, send a new affirmative consent email following the enrollment instructions. A carrier unblock or keyword alone does not enroll an unknown person or authorize new categories.

Delivery and privacy

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery and timing are not guaranteed; consult Canvas for authoritative school information. Software alerts are not an emergency service. See the Privacy Policy for information use and service providers.

Material changes to message categories require a new consent choice. Updated disclosures will be published here.
