Privacy Policy

George operates George Household Notifications, a private family notification program. Contact notifications@georgedk.com for privacy questions, corrections, deletion requests or consent withdrawal.

Information and purpose

Enrollment by email collects your name, email address, mobile number, selected notification categories and your affirmative consent statement. George retains the email, date and disclosure version privately to document consent. Once delivery starts, the program will process authorized school-summary or software-event content, delivery status and opt-out records to send the messages you chose, handle withdrawals and troubleshoot delivery.

This website has no phone-number collection form and no advertising or analytics scripts added by George. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes connection information to deliver and protect it. Google Workspace handles consent and support email. Twilio and mobile carriers will process SMS content, destination numbers and delivery information when messaging begins.

No marketing sharing

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information and consent records will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Necessary service providers process information only to operate the website, email and messaging services. Messages contain only the school information each enrolled recipient is authorized to receive.

Retention and choices

George retains consent and withdrawal records privately to document authorization and prevent unwanted messages. Information may also remain in provider systems according to their retention policies. Contact George to request access, correction or deletion; a minimal opt-out record may be retained to prevent accidental re-enrollment. Withdrawing SMS consent does not remove access to the original school service.

SMS frequency and charges

Canvas school summaries: two each weekday at 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern time (10 per recipient per week). Software failure and recovery alerts: operator only, with frequency varying by events. Longer summaries may use multiple SMS segments. Message and data rates may apply.
